My Homemade Red Sauce

This makes about 16 oz. of sauce and we use it anytime we need a red sauce.

1 can Tomato paste (I want to say they are 6 oz.)

2 c. Water

1 t. Garlic powder

1 t. Oregano

1 t. Basil

1 t. Thyme

1 t. Honey

1/2 t. Salt

1/2 t. Pepper

1/4 t. Red Pepper

Mix everything together with a whisk in your pan and let it come to a soft boil. Turn the heat down and let it simmer until the sauce as thickened up a bit. This is not going to be as thick as the canned stuff from the store but much yummier!
