Moose Munch

This makes a LARGE batch of moose munch.  I would’ve loved to show you exactly how munch but I didn’t get a chance to take a picture before we had to leave to go to our bible study (for which the moose munch was made). This is what was left after eight adults and four kids enjoyed the snack.

1 cup popcorn kernels

2 c. Milk Chocolate Chips

3/4 c. Heath Toffee Bits

1/2 c. Kraft Caramel Bits

2 T Butter, melted

1/4 t. Salt

Pop popcorn as you desire and add butter and salt, shake to coat. *Take note: if popping the popcorn on the stove top you’ll need a large stockpot.*

As you’re popping the popcorn started melting the chocolate. After popcorn has been coated with butter and salt add melted chocolate, shake to coat.

After popcorn has been evenly coated add toffee bits and again, shake to coat; taking care to to use a spatula occasionally to get the toffee bits that will inevitably get stuck to the side and bottom.

Soften the caramel bits in the microwave, taking care not to melt them. While caramel is still soft add in to popcorn and stir to mix thoroughly.

Let popcorn cool before eating. For those that can’t wait be sure to have a lot of napkins handy!
